Mornings in Bilbao are chic.

It’s thanks to this machine. It was sitting in the hotel lobby, so I took a look to see what it was, and it turned out to be a coffee machine. I take the caffeine it brews from this austere box and, with potted plants behind me, gaze out at the dazzling river.

Bilbao is a wonderful city. It’s quiet. The scenery where the city and nature blend together is beautiful.

Every angle makes for a great photo.
What is with this bright yellow bicycle?

I really liked the public phone.
No one uses it now, of course, but back then you probably could have seen stylish scenes of people whispering words of love from here to lovers far away.

You can see the suspension bridge. From here you can see ships heading to England. Since large ships pass through, they say the bridge was built with great height by the designer of the Eiffel Tower.

You can cross to the other side like this. Apparently it operates 24 hours a day.
Business thrives near the water. Land prices are high around here, and the market seems lively. This is where trade between England and Spain passes through.

A magnificent sight.

Under the bridge, a toy motorcycle sits alone, waiting for morning. In the middle of the night, no children come to ride it.
Gaudí died after being hit by a tram. According to one theory, he was hit somewhere around here. Maybe this is the area where Gaudí was run over... I think to myself as I drink my coffee. I cross the suspension bridge for no particular reason, climb up and down it, and before I know it, the day is over.
